"and when I tell you that I walked through a birch forest back then with my eyes squinted so that I could hear the rustling of absent mountains better" - Ulrike to Johanna
"sleeping with your eyes open is still the easiest exercise you know the startle falling down the crisis areas and potholes unstoppable you slip in all the rooms with a tightened floor plan" - Johanna to Ulrike

With "Je te flingue", poems by Ulrike Schrimpf meet images by Johanna Hansen and transform their "Parisian Sketches" linguistically into image-text pairs with mental and sensual razor-sharpness. Two people have met who like to shoot relentlessly - in the sense of photos, but also with a knife or revolver - or lipstick as a weapon. They don't see themselves in their femininity as objects, not as targets, but aim themselves. At sensual targets, but also into themselves, in this tension between opposites, between silence and speaking, showing and concealing. - Kristian Kühn

Draft of silence / Snow miniatures

Is white the beginning or the end of colour? Is the whiteness of snow the beginning of silence or the beginning of speech? In this volume, Johanna Hansen explores the (non-)colour in words and images. In addition to the blue of cold, vastness and knowledge, it symbolises silence, forgetting, emptiness, but also memory and new beginnings. The whiteness of the blank sheet or canvas thus becomes the antithesis of a 'colourful noise'. Snow miniatures, self-encounters and childhood memories merge here into an enchantingly intimate flurry.
